At Heald Green United Reformed Church we often see things a little differently from how you might imagine, or have experienced church before.
We are always open to new ways of thinking, new ways of expressing our faith, and new ways of understanding God. So, if you feel church is ‘not your thing’ or if you haven’t been for a while, don’t worry. If you are looking for a welcoming community, a place where you’re free to explore your spirituality, introduce your children to the Christian faith, or even get married in a church which isn’t too formal or rigid, then we may be the place for you. Whoever you are, and wherever you are on life’s journey, you will be warmly welcomed at our church.
And remember, our Faith is over 2000 years old … but our Thinking isn’t!
Sunday Worship: 10:30am
Here at Heald Green United Reformed Church we recognise that each person is unique and we all relate to God in different ways. As a result the worship we offer is varied, to ensure there will be a warm welcome for everyone.
Traditional Worship
Our Traditional Service includes all the elements you may expect; Hymns old and new as we praise God in song, Prayers and Meditation as a time to be still, reflect or think of others, Bible Readings (following the Revised Common Lectionary) as we listen for God’s Word together and a Sermon, which will hopefully challenge and inspire.

Junior Church
Every Sunday we will be pleased to to welcome families in our Church. Our Junior Church provision is currently under review but with support we hope to be able to provide playful activities such as sticking and signing, cutting and caring, laughing and learning.

Refreshments!
And after all our ways of worshipping, there is a chance for a drink and a chat together before going home. And of course all our hot drinks are Fairtrade!
Our Faith may be 2,000 years old – but our Thinking isnt!
